DESCRIPTION:One of most celebrated British singers of his generation, James Gilchrist enjoys equal  status as a performer of baroque music (not least as the most in-demand Evangelist  for Bach's Passions in the UK), art song and opera. Following recent performances at  the Opéra National de Paris, with the Dutch Bach Society and at Oxford International  Song Festival, Gilchrist comes to St Andrews to perform and work with the Music  Centre's vocal scholars.
