DESCRIPTION:At this Research Conversation, we will be discussing Benjamin Faude's (University of Glasgow) paper, 'The Institutional Dynamics of Global Governance in Hard Times: Innovation or Decline?' (co-authored with John Karlsrud). This paper discusses where contemporary global governance is headed and puts a particular focus on the question of whether the alternative forms of collaboration that have been proliferating in recent decades indicate the decline of global governance or its innovative adaptation to a significantly altered social and (geo)political environment.
