SUMMARY:Mind and Matter 2024: Inflatable mobile planetarium - additional show
DESCRIPTION:Due to the high demand we will hold this additional show! Inside the planetarium we project a simulation of the northern night sky and teach young audiences about various objects in space, from the solar system to galaxies and star formation. We describe what it's like to be an astronomer and talk about the exciting research carried out in St Andrews. We also offer a Q&A session at the end of each show with our astronomers. This show is part of 'Mind and Matter 2024', a day of discovery and inspiration for curious minds of all ages. We invite you to be inspired, creative and learn about the fascinating world of research with a programme full of hands-on activities, exhibits and shows from across all disciplines at St Andrews. Please reserve your space, as we only have a limited capacity! https://events.st-andrews.ac.uk/events/mind-and-matter-2024-inflatable-mobile-planetarium-additional-show/
