SUMMARY:Brexit Information Session
DESCRIPTION: The University is holding information sessions over the next few weeks for all EU, EEA and Swiss national students to provide up-to-date information about aspects of Brexit that could affect students. The session will cover the EU Settlement Scheme. The settlement scheme will be fully open by 30 March 2019. There will be no change to the current rights of EU citizens in the UK under EU law until 31 December 2020 and, until this date, EU citizens will be able to continue living in the UK and access public funds and services in the same way as they do currently. Anyone wishing to remain in the UK after 31 December 2020 in any capacity will need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme. Other matters such as tuition fees, travel documents and healthcare will also be covered. The session will be presented by representatives from Student Services, Human Resources and the Students Association and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. This session will be held in Physics Lecture Theatre A. https://events.st-andrews.ac.uk/events/brexit-information-session-2/
