SUMMARY:Alumni Careers Panel: A Passion for the Written Word
DESCRIPTION:As part of the annual Alumni Weekend, join Megan Janasiewicz (Opportunities Manager, Careers Centre), Catherine Mullner (Student President, School of English) and current students for an engaging discussion with St Andrews alumni Alison Angell (MLitt 2009, Creative Writing), Gemma Milne (BSc 2013, Mathematics), Peter Ranscombe (BSc 2004, Physics) and Gillian Gamble (MA (Arts) 2011). They may have taken very different journeys since they graduated but, whether involved in publishing educational materials, writing about science and technology, as a picture book illustrator, author and social entrepreneur, or freelance journalist and novelist, they are all ready to share valuable information about their industries for your benefit whilst you are considering what comes next. You can send questions for the panel in advance to alumni@st-andrews.ac.uk or you can ask questions on the day via the Q&A. If you wish to attend, sign up on the Alumni Weekend website to be sent the MS Teams link.
