DESCRIPTION:You provide your lunch and the Entrepreneurship Centre will provide an inspiring and engaging series of online masterclasses exploring key topics for anyone interested in getting an idea out into the world.    Join us for a special edition of Lunch & Learn: Winning Competitions hosted by Director of Enterprise at the Entrepreneurship Centre, Keith Millican, and Enterprise Manager at Converge, Dr Lissa Herron.    Scotland is renowned for its entrepreneurial support and vast opportunities for grant funding in the eco-system - something we encourage all entrepreneurs to make the most of. With every opportunity comes a hoop to jump through to be in for an opportunity to win so join us for this Lunch & Learn where Keith and Lissa will be talking through the ins-and-outs of what makes a good application, what judges are looking for, and how to stand out in a pile of applications all fighting for the same spot.    Drawing on his own experience of judging such applications, Keith will discuss what has made a lasting impression on him, and will cover the key bits of information you want to include. Lissa will draw on her direct experience from her role at Converge - one of the countries biggest entrepreneurial competitions - to explain what such organisations are looking for in an application, including how much detail to go into on specific areas.    The session will run for around 45 minutes with time for discussion and Q&A.
