DESCRIPTION:The University of St Andrews and the School of English are delighted to announce that the George Jack Memorial Lecture 2022 will be given by Professor Richard Dance (University of Cambridge). The title of the lecture will be: 'Many Meetings: Medieval English and the Etymologist'.    This will be a hybrid event which can be attended either in person or electronically via Microsoft Teams. The Teams link will be issued nearer the time of the lecture.    Places are limited, both for electronic and in-person attendance.
