DESCRIPTION:An online poetry reading and discussion with Lucy Mercer, author of Emblem (Prototype, 2022). The event will be chaired by Dr Daisy Lafarge, lecturer in Creative Writing.     Lucy Mercer's first poetry collection Emblem is published by Prototype in April 2022. She was the inaugural of the White Review Poet's Prize. She recently completed a PhD where she developed a speculative theory of emblems, and now teaches creative writing at Goldsmiths.
