SUMMARY:Hong Kong &amp; the fight for 21st century democracy
DESCRIPTION:Dr Catherine Jones, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Lecturer in International Relations at St Andrews, will moderate a discussion of one of the films for the Edinburgh Film Festival as part of the Reel Talks series.     Faceless is Jennifer Ngo’s journalistic account of the Hong Kong protests that traces the political journeys of four young Hong Kong citizens, referred to as: The Student, The Artist, The Daughter and The Believer.    Catherine will chair a timely discussion about the future of Hong Kong democracy with Faceless Director Jennifer Ngo and a panel of experts, including Baroness Helena Kennedy, Dr Victor Fan (King’s College London) and Evan Fowler (co-founder Hong Kong Free Press).
