'Works in Progress': The Postgraduate Symposium of Art History and Museum and Heritage Studies - Free
This Symposium will convene to celebrate the varied research undertaken within the School of Art History at the University of St Andrews. It provides a supportive environment for those working in the fields of Art History and Museum and Heritage Studies to present their research, exchange ideas, and build community.
Postgraduate Research is an immensely challenging, and often isolating, experience, but also an incredibly rewarding one. This Symposium aims to provide skills workshops which have an immediate and tangible benefit for postgraduate research students in the school in the form of the morning workshops. We also aim to celebrate the diversity of the research interests within the School in the afternoon panel sessions.
Workshops aimed at Art History PhDs will take place in the morning session (9:00-12:00) while the afternoon will feature panels showcasing research from current and past PGRs open to all audiences (13:00-17:15).
