Aelita: Queen of Mars is a pioneering masterpiece that blends the tumultuous post-civil war Soviet Russia with an imaginative journey to Mars. Follow engineer Los on his quest to the Red Planet, where he joins forces with the captivating Queen Aelita to spark a revolution against the tyrannical Elders.
Pianist Matthew Shiel will enhance this cinematic curiosity with an improvised live score. Known for his dynamic and captivating performances, Shiel's improvisational live score promises to elevate the film's narrative and transport the audience to the visionary world of 1920s science fiction.
