Walk with Transition

As an attempt to improve the community's wellbeing during the pandemic, Transition University of St Andrews volunteers would like to take anyone who might be feeling down, isolated, or simply wanting to get out into nature on walks around St Andrews. The walks are open to people from all walks of life -- from undergraduate, master, postgraduate students, to staff members and local residents.

The walks, which must adhere to current Scottish Government Covid guidelines, would be around one hour long, and the routes would vary based on the volunteers' and walkers' availability. These wellbeing walks are designed to facilitate a connection between one of our volunteers and a walker. The participants are free to either continue with walks after this initial connection has been made or request to walk with another volunteer.

Use the forms bellow to sign up and let us know about your walking buddy preferences or sign up to become a volunteer yourself!
