University of St Andrews Public Meeting

As a mark of respect for the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on Saturday 17 April, this event, which was originally scheduled for that day, will now take place on Saturday 24 April.

All members of the St Andrews community, staff, students and local residents, are invited to the University of St Andrews' Annual Public Meeting for 2021, to be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.

This event is an integral component of the University's commitment to Social Responsibility as outlined in the University Strategy 2018 to 2023, and is designed to enable our key stakeholders, partners and neighbours to learn more about our current activities and ambitions.

Updates on University business will be provided by the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sally Mapstone FRSE; the Senior Lay Member of the University Court, Catherine Stihler OBE; and the President of the Students' Association, Dan Marshall.

Short opening remarks will address the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on our University, and the continuing delivery of the University Strategy. A question and answer session will follow, moderated by Stephen Gethins, Professor of Practice in the School of International Relations.

Audience members are invited to submit questions in advance of the event. Please send your question to the Court Office by noon on Friday 23 April, alongside your name and, where applicable, your relationship to the University, via [email protected].

A summary of questions and answers will be published following the event on the University Court web pages.

Please register online to attend this event (you do not require a Teams Account to attend this meeting). Please note: if you have already registered, you do not need to register again. The joining link remains the same.
