University of St Andrews Music Society: 150th Anniversary Festival Celebrating 150 years of music!

The Music Society is celebrating their landmark 150th Anniversary with a four day festival, from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 April, packed full of exciting events.

Whether you're a musician or not, there's something for everyone, with highlights including the Late Night Ceilidh, Alumni and Members Dinner where all current students and alums are welcome, and our Play for a Day event, where we welcome all musicians to join our orchestra for an informal day of music making, anyone grade 6 and above welcome.

And there will be no shortage of live music, with modern pop hits in our Ukelear Fusion: Album Launch Concert on Friday, toe-tapping funk in Live with Big BuStA, and the enormous orchestral grandeur of Mahler 1 in our Symphony Orchestra: Closing Concert in Younger Hall.
