We are pleased to invite you to the latest in a series of workshops bringing together academics and regulators in Scotland to discuss topical questions in regulatory policy. This economic workshop aims to bring together academics and regulators to discuss current issues in regulatory policy, such as the impact of AI and digital technologies on the functioning of markets and consumer behaviour.

  • Focus on how competition and regulatory policy is evolving with digital technologies, AI, and cryptocurrencies

  • Exploring consumer engagement with industries such as telecoms, energy, finance, and others
  • Discussions on consumer choice and behaviour in markets for key goods and services
  • How consumers interact with Net Zero
