Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Royal Bank of Scotland Scottish Varsity Matches at BT Murrayfield.
The ancient rivalry between Scotland’s two oldest university rugby clubs has seen in excess of 10,000 fans flock to the stands in recent years. Formed in 1857 and 1858 respectively, Edinburgh University RFC and the University of St Andrews RFC are two of the oldest rugby clubs in the world, and both founder members of the Scottish Rugby Union.
Students, staff, alumni, supporters, friends and family are invited to attend this year’s event, which will see the University of Edinburgh and the University of St Andrews rugby teams clash on the international pitch.
This year a new family stand offers U16s the chance to experience top-level rugby at BT Murrayfield for free. Eight free U16 tickets can be obtained per full price adult ticket, subject to availability, and all U16s must be accompanied by an adult. Terms and conditions apply.
For the comfort and safety of all spectators Scottish Varsity tickets will operate on an allocated seat basis for the 2019 match. Spectators can choose their seat as part of the ticket purchase process.
Women’s Match 3pm
Men’s Match 4.15pm
The event is supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland and is also run in partnership with Campus Living Villages, Macron and PlayerLayer.
