We're looking for research encounters of the absurd kind – unlikely, odd, unexpected, or farfetched research that you may have come across in your work. What things, opinions, ideas or theories did you discover in academic papers, archival documents, or anywhere where your research took you? But when you read it, you just had to go... WHAT?
