St Andrews Organ Week and Dundee Leisure and Culture present Martin Schmeding £12, £11, £10, £5
Martin Schmeding is Professor of Organ at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University for Music and Theatre in Leipzig and one of the leading European organists of his generation.
On the magnificent 1923 Harrison & Harrison concert organ at Dundee's Caird Hall, Schmeding will perform a stellar programme of symphonic organ music of the 19th and 20th centuries, including Julius Reubke's Sonata on the 94th Psalm and Max Reger's Chorale Fantasia on Wie Schön leuchtet der Morgenstern, as well as music by Mendelssohn, Messiaen and Escaich.
