St Andrews Medical Humanities Network Inaugural Symposium and Public Keynote Dr Jaipreet Virdi, University of Delaware
Please join us for the inaugural St Andrews Medical Humanities Network Symposium.
We're delighted that Dr Jaipreet Virdi from the University of Delaware will be delivering the symposium keynote, from 4pm to 5pm on ‘Beyond the shot: the complex history of depo-provera and endometriosis'.
As well as the symposium keynote, the programme includes sessions on Exhibition, narrative and storytelling from Emily Hanson and Billy Rough (Art History), Bridget Bradley (Anthropology), Roxani Krystalli (International Relations) and Zoe McElhinney (Medicine); on Assessing medical research from Mattia Fumanti (Anthropology), Joseph Millum (Philosophy), Aileen Fyfe (History), Jane Illés (Medicine) and Ted Bergman (Modern Languages); on Medical humanities methods from Alison Beach and Sally Mubarak (History and Classics), Katrin Metsis (Medicine), Bettina Bildhauer (Modern Languages) and Enrico Galvagni (Philosophy); and on Wellbeing throughout Life from Philippa Woodcock (History), Chia Liu (Geography and Sustainable Development), Sarah Bowers (Medicine) and Mary Abed Al Ahad (Geography and Sustainable Development).
