Science Discovery Day 2019

The University of St Andrews is holding its annual Science Discovery Day on 9 March 2019 as part of British Science Week, a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths, featuring entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages.

Science Discovery Day, along with a number of events leading up to it, will give visitors the opportunity to explore the fun side of science and research. Exhibitions and demonstrations from researchers across the University will range from how to build an electronic rainbow to investigating explosive chemistry and the chance to see the stars in an inflatable planetarium.

All events are fun, free and suitable for all ages. Events take place from 10am to 4pm in the School of Physics and Astronomy in St Andrews.
