Research seminar with Global Fellow Professor June Cotte Scholarly invitations and how to network in academia

The University of St Andrews Business School is delighted to host Professor June Cotte during September and October 2024, as part of the University's Global Fellowship Scheme.

In this research seminar, Professor Cotte will talk about networking and deliver insights from the perspective of a former president of a learned society. The session will be an opportunity to consider and progress participants' research networking development. This is the last scheduled event in Professor Cotte's term as Global Fellow, and as such is also a chance to say farewell.

June Cotte is a Professor of Marketing at the Ivey Business School. She has previously served as President of the Association for Consumer Research (ACR) and is currently co-editor of the Journal of Consumer Research. She is co-founder of the ‘Designing your career in the marketing academy' initiative for young female marketing scholars. June leads on Executive Education at Ivey Business School in Canada.

Her Global Fellowship follows on from earlier Global Fellows hosted by Management, Economics and Finance, including:

  • Professor Tine Koehler from University of Melbourne (2024)
  • Professor Nikolaos Topaloglou from Athens University of Economics & Business (2021-2022)
  • Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes from Queensland University of Technology (2020-2021)
  • Professor Rod McNaughton from the University of Auckland (2019-2020)
