Politics: Past, Present and Future Postgraduate Lecture Series

St Leonard's Postgraduate College with the Students' Association are pleased to announce the first event in the Postgraduate Lecture Series, an interdisciplinary evening of lectures presented by postgraduate researchers focusing on the topic of politics to which all staff and students are welcome.

The presentations will be:
Consuelo Martino, Classics – Marches on Rome: Julius Caesar and the Dynamics of the Coup d'État
Jakob Hinze, Philosophy – Rejuvenating Democracy: The Case for Enfranchising Young Citizens
Gabriela Manley, Social Anthropology – Imagining the Future, Creating the Present: The Future as Political Fact

Doors open at 5pm, presentations proceed at 5.30pm. A wine reception with canapés is to follow (non-alcoholic alternatives available).
