Join the Provost for an evening of lectures presented by postgraduate researchers from the University. This event will focus on the main theme of plants with the following presentations:

– Sanne van den Berg, Classics – Poisonous plants and Roman politics in Tacitus' Annals
– Emma Hobbs, Biology – Engineering proteins for a greener future
– Elena Romero-Passerin D'Entreves, History – Plant professionals: The development of scientific jobs in eighteenth-century botanic gardens

Doors will open at 5.15 pm, presentations proceed at 5.30 pm. Refreshments and a light meal will be available. Please book a place in advance via PDMS.
