Open Forum on SUMS Consulting Report on Race and Ethnicity at St Andrews

The University's Race Equality Charter (REC) team are holding an open forum to discuss the SUMS Consulting Report on Race and Ethnicity at St Andrews. This is an event for all who wish to discuss the findings and recommendations of the report, and where we go from here.

In 2021, the University commissioned the independent external consultant SUMS Consulting to undertake a review of the University's approach to race and ethnicity. The review ran between 2021 and 2022, and offered extensive opportunities for staff and students to engage in discussion through one-to-one meetings and focus groups. The SUMS Consulting report has now been made available on the University web-pages. (The report is linked to from the More Information… link below).

There will be a brief presentation on the findings and recommendations of the report by REC Chair Akira O'Connor. There will follow an opportunity for all who attend to ask questions and discuss any issues raised by the report.

If you are unable to attend the event, but wish to submit a question or discussion point, please email Akira O'Connor at [email protected].
