ONWARD! Flaherty Film Seminar at the University of St Andrews
In Autumn 2025 LUX Scotland is hosting three events as part of the 70th annual Flaherty Seminar. As unique and discursive events, each gathering offers the opportunity for the audience to engage in discussion as it explores the history of, and current movements in, non-fiction filmmaking.
Following events at the Hunterian in Glasgow and Cooper Gallery in Dundee, St Andrews will host the third and final event in the programme. A series of short films will be shown, including work by Myriam Charles, Maxime Jean-Baptiste and Camille Billops. This will be followed by an hour of discussion time, where the audience will be invited to consider the films together.
