Northern Ireland's contemporary music ensemble joins forces with mezzo-soprano Lucy
Schaufer and two of the Music Centre's most gifted scholarship holders in a musical portrait
of Honorary Professor of Composition, Piers Hellawell. Solo and ensemble pieces traversing
nearly 40 years of composing activity are presented alongside works by Hellawell's Belfast
student, the late Daniel Barkley, and current St Andrews-student Michael Chamberlain whose
Old Chester-nuts: Two Songs by G.K. Chesterton will receive its first performance.
