Minister for Independence Jamie Hepburn 'in conversation with' Josh Traynor
The Scottish Government Minister for Independence, Jamie Hepburn MSP, will attend a discussion at the University on Wednesday 22 November moderated by Josh Traynor, a fourth-year student in the School of International Relations.
The event will be held via MS Teams from 10am to 11am. The Minister was previously due to travel to St Andrews, however his household have COVID so the event was moved online.
The event has been organised in collaboration with St Andrews University Students for Independence (STAUSFI), a society affiliated with the Students' Association that promotes debate on campus around Scotland's constitutional future.
Jamie Hepburn MSP has represented the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth constituency in the Scottish Parliament since 2011. He will deliver a short speech, followed by a Q&A session.
The University will be officially represented by Professor Stephen Gethins, Assistant Vice-Principal (International Strategy and External Relations).
Everyone is welcome to attend, and the event is free of charge. Places are limited so if you are interested in attending, you are encouraged to register and submit a question you would like to ask the Minister through the online form: https://forms.gle/1QUKAjz3ZmzdkLht6
