Militarising the Fight against Crime? Lessons for Scotland Scottish Institute for Police Research, the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research and the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS)
Join scholars from across Scotland for this roundtable on examining the complex relationships between militarisation and counter-crime policies, both in the UK and abroad.
The roundtable will incorporate expertise from members of the Scottish Institute for Police Research, the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research and the St Andrews Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS). The conversation is directly relevant to academics, policymakers and practitioners in policing, community building and crime-prevention strategies.
This activity is hosted by CPCS and made possible by the Scottish Council on Global Affairs under its call ‘State of the World'.
