Mark Brunner -- 'A restless electorate: American politics at a crossroads'

As the US approaches the November 2018 midterm elections, the economy is surging, but deep social and cultural divides continue and the November elections will serve as the first referendum on the Trump Presidency, while providing a lens into Americans' priorities and values. Mark Brunner will deliver a prospective on the factors that will shape the elections, and make some predictions on what to expect in November.

Mark has presented his findings to US CEO's and public policy leaders, and his lecture will provide Saint Andrews' students a glimpse into how Washington DC is evaluating the upcoming elections.

This lecture will take place in the Arts Lecture Theatre.
