United by a shared passion for contemporary music and close collaboration with living composers, Portuguese violinist Inês Soares and Chinese pianist Baichuan Hui formed their duo through a mutual artistic vision and distinctive approach to repertoire. Virtuosic, multiple award-winning graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Soares and Hui will perform music by Sir James MacMillan, the irreverent dance pastiches of American Paul Schoenfield and the world premiere of a new piece by J. Simon van der Walt.
