Join us for Innovation Week 2024, Keynote event.
To open a fantastic week of events, workshops, activities and competitions, we're delighted to be joined by an inspirational entrepreneur as our Keynote speaker for Innovation Week 2024.
Stuart Cassells is the founder of the world-famous bagpipe band The Red Hot Chilli Pipers and a pioneering musician who earned the first degree in bagpipes from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, after winning a BBC prime-time TV talent show, achieved platinum album sales and performed at some of the world's largest events. Despite his musical career being cut short, he has led successful ventures in the Scotch whisky industry and is now focused on inspiring others through his message of resilience and overcoming adversity. In his high-energy and powerful upcoming talk, Stuart will focus on “The Opportunity of Resilience”, sharing his personal journey and the lessons he's learned about overcoming obstacles and seizing opportunities.
This event promises to leave audiences motivated and empowered to tackle their own challenges with renewed vigor.
About Stuart Cassells
Best known as the creator of the world-renowned bagpipe band The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Stuart Cassells has had a remarkable career that has led him to his current position as Head of Private Client Relationship Management at The Macallan.
Stuart's musical career was unexpectedly cut short due to Focal Hand Dystonia, which forced him to find a new path. He then shifted his focus to creating world-class luxury experiences through Scotch whisky, leading transformative success at The Glenturret and The Macallan. The past 18 months has been especially challenging for Stuart, as he suffered a serious stroke that significantly affected his speech, memory, and cognition, necessitating open heart surgery and a year-long recovery process. Now fully recovered, Stuart is committed to inspiring others to dream bigger and lead happier, more impactful lives.
