Idea Sprint: Find Your Starting Point

Interested in doing something entrepreneurial, but not sure where to start? Perhaps you already have an idea, a piece of research or a skill you'd like to explore further?

You don't need to arrive with a brilliant business idea. Ideas can start in all sorts of places, your interests, skills, experiences, research or something changing around you. They can also grow from something you've always wondered about doing.

In this interactive 90 minute workshop, we'll help you find your starting point and explore what it could become.

You'll have the chance to:

discover different ways entrepreneurial ideas can begin
explore your own interests, skills, experiences, knowledge and observations
make connections and uncover possibilities you might not have considered
think about who might value or benefit from an idea, and why
identify what you already know and what you still need to find out
leave with a practical next step for exploring your idea further.
Already have an idea? Bring it along and use the session to explore it from a fresh perspective.

Researcher or academic? You can use the workshop to explore where your research, expertise or technology could create value and consider potential applications beyond its original context.

No previous business or entrepreneurial experience is needed. Whether you have an idea, several ideas or no idea at all, Idea Sprint is a place to start.
