European Research Council Starting Grant application workshop

This workshop is a great chance to hear about how to approach European Research Council Starting Grant application. We invited social anthropologist Vita Peacock to share her European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant application experience. Her project “Surveillance and Moral Community: Anthropologies of Monitoring in Germany and Britain” is funded by a European Research Council Starting Grant and hosted by the Department of Digital Humanities at King's College London. Lorraine Black from Research Business Development & Contracts will give us an overview of this ERC grant (prerequisites, tips, deadlines, success rates, contacts and policy updates). There will be ample time for Q&A. As an ERC Starting Grant awardee, Mette High can help answer questions too. The workshop is open to PhD students, early career researchers and recent PhD graduates in our department.

Speakers: Lorraine Black, Vita Peacock
Chairs: Yang Yang, Mette High
