Adapting Eco-Systems & Infrastructures of Ukrainian Cities During War Energy Cafe hosted by Viktoriia Grivina

How can industrial facilities operate as multifunctional ecosystems in a front-line city? What happens when a municipal bus fleet comes under attack? How to live sustainably in the times of war, and what can we do to safeguard animal and plant life in the endangered urban areas?

Following her PhD study, ‘City as the Machine: Vulnerable Legacies and Green Re-Imaginings in Kharkiv, Ukraine', Viktoriia Grivina will share some of the early findings of her research, as well as test a working theory of applying Felix Guattari's concept of “three ecologies” to the interconnectedness of adaptation processes in the city in the time of war.
