'Children of the Anthropocene': documentary film premiere for Earth Day
To celebrate Earth Day 2026, the University is hosting a premiere of Children of the Anthropocene, the final instalment of the Choose Earth documentary series.
Children of the Anthropocene follows young leaders across continents as they rise against climate failures. Engaging in lawsuits, protest, creativity and resilience, they strive for a future still within reach.
Come along and:
- listen to a recorded introduction from the series artist and charity founder, Anne de Carbuccia
- watch the screening of Children of the Anthropocene (90 minutes)
- engage in a reflective discussion of the actions we can take for our Earth
One Planet One Future, the foundation behind Choose Earth, is a US public charity which aims to use the universal language of art to raise awareness on climate breakdown and inspire collective action.
Their five-episode series explores the environmental challenges of the last decade and the crossroad we have reached, following artist Anne de Carbuccia over ten years as she creates her installations around the world and encounters stories of young people, the ‘Earth Protectors', committed to protecting the planet.
