Business School seminar with Professor Romeo V. Turcan, Aalborg University Business School From gap-driven to phenomenon-driven PhD research
This University of St Andrews Business School event will welcome Romeo V. Turcan, who is a Professor at Aalborg University Business School, Denmark, Adjunct Professor at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and Visiting Professor at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge, UK.
Professor Turcan's research interests include legitimation of newness and theory building across diverse disciplines and contexts. He will speak on the topic, ‘From gap-driven to phenomenon-driven PhD research'.
The session will introduce an innovative approach to PhD research known as phenomenon-driven research and explore how doctoral candidates can use it to amplify their own perspectives. The lecture will include a hands-on component in which participating students will engage in identifying phenomena relevant to their research.
