Business School seminar with guest speaker Dr Silvia Filippi All you need is equitable workplaces

The University of St Andrews Business School will welcome guest speaker Dr Silvia Filippi, who is a research fellow at the University of Padova.

The event will include a networking lunch at 1pm followed by a seminar at 1.30pm titled, ‘All you need is equitable workplaces: addressing economic and power disparities to promote well-being at work'.

The session will consider:
* workers' well-being in organisations that have a large gap in pay between top managers and other workers
* harm to women and men caused by inequalities at work
* workers' well-being and performance in organisations where power is decentralised.

The day has been co-organised by:
* Centre for Research into Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (CREDI)
* Equality, diversity and inclusion committee (EDIC)
* Work, Organisations and Society (WOS) thematic research group.
