Books, objects and instruments in the history of science and culture: a show-and-tell event

Please join us for an introduction to items from the St Andrews Collections. Specialists in the history of mathematics, science, and culture will showcase an item from University Collections, or in some cases their own private collections, and discuss how books, objects and instruments can open up new ways of seeing and knowing. Professor Tita Chico of the University of Maryland and Senior Global Fellow in the School of English will be joined by colleagues from Art History, Divinity, English, History and Mathematics to present some unique items and the research they make possible. You are welcome to join for the whole event or to drop in at any point during the afternoon.
