Barney Mauleverer: an entrepreneurial mind And award ceremony celebrating enterprising and entrepreneurial people

Barney Mauleverer cut his teeth in food and drink during the front five years of early stage Innocent Drinks. Leaving in 2006 as European Manager, Barney sought a more entrepreneurial route of his own and set up food brand exporting company Fresh Marketing with fellow St Andrews alumnus Alex Matheson.

Today they supply over 40 markets with more than 25 UK produced innovation food and drink brands. In 2013, Alex and Barney launched breakfast brand FUEL10K which can be found on the shelves of supermarkets in the UK and some European, Middle Eastern and SE Asian countries.

Barney lives in Dorset with his catering wife and four kids. He loves a challenge enjoying the occasional extreme long distance footraces completing the Marathon des Sables in the Moroccan Dessert, the Jungle Marathon in Brazil and the Himalayan Everest Challenge on the Nepalese border. Next one is long overdue!

Following Barney's talk and Q&A, we will recognise and celebrate winners of the University's PSC Plus Enterprise, World's Challenge Challenge, Enterprising Mind of the Year and Idea Explosion.
