Anniversary of the full scale invasion of Ukraine: four years later St Andrews Ukrainian Society with guest speaker Vitaliia Turchyn

Tuesday 24 February 2026 marks the fourth year since the full invasion of Ukraine. This event will include student speakers sharing their own experiences of that day and the days following in Ukraine.

This will be accompanied by the screening of the acclaimed documentary, 2000 Meters to Andriivka, which documents soldiers' fight to liberate the village of Andriivka during the 2023 counteroffensive, using helmet camera footage to immerse viewers in the harsh reality of the front lines and the bravery of the soldiers.
