Acoustics demonstration in the Laidlaw Music Centre - FREE

Nicholas Edwards, the award winning acoustic consultant responsible for the Laidlaw Music Centre will lead a demonstration of the acoustics in its McPherson Recital Room, the world's only recital room of its size to feature a coupled reverberation chamber. This will include changes to the acoustics through banners and curtains. Music will be provided bye the renowned trumpeter Bede Williams of the University of St Andrews. A questionnaire will be provided so that your perception of the space can contribute to a research paper for the International Congress on Acoustics Conference.
