A day in the life of a diplomat Lecture and workshop with distinguished alumna Helen Hwang
The University of St Andrews Business School and the Careers Service invite students from the Business School and the School of International Relations to an afternoon lecture and workshop with one of our most distinguished alumna, Helen Hwang.
Helen's story about her transformative time at St Andrews can be read on her alumni blog, A change of destiny for one alumna. A frequent visitor to St Andrews, she is returning in September to continue her support of the Making Waves Campaign of which New College is a major focus that will house both the Schools of Business and International Relations. As part of her visit, she will be sharing her decades of business and international relations experience with students who are interested in a commercially related diplomatic career.
During this session, Helen will deliver a lecture about her diplomatic career and then work with students on some of the challenging scenarios which arise during the course of diplomatic service.
